Our Story
Flora Pomona flower shop is a family rooted flower shop in Eugene Oregon founded by Laura Byerly and her father, James Cagle, built on a simple idea: honoring the full journey of every bloom, from seed to arrangement. James, a farmer, carefully cultivates the flowers—preparing soil, planning crops, and tending the land. In the shop, Laura brings those blooms to life through artistic, thoughtfully designed arrangements, guided by her eye for color, texture, and balance. With a background in corporate leadership and fine arts her passion for floral design brings a unique perspective. She blends creativity with a strong customer experience. Together, they’ve created a business grounded in hard work, artistry, and a deep connection to the land. We're here to share that story—to educate, inspire, and bring you flowers grown and designed with passion.
We're different in all the best ways.

Our Sustainable Micro-Farm Sourcing Model
Flora Pomona grows and sources flowers from our private micro-farm and a curated network of local Oregon growers. Every stem is harvested within 48 hours of your order — no cold-chain warehouses, no imported filler blooms. Our farm-to-florist model means fresher arrangements, longer vase life, and a direct investment in the Eugene agricultural community.
Why Farm-to-Florist Matters
When you choose Flora Pomona, you're supporting sustainable agriculture, reducing carbon emissions from long-distance shipping, and ensuring your flowers arrive at peak freshness. Our commitment to local sourcing strengthens the Eugene community and preserves the artistry of small-scale flower farming.
