Flora Pomona Flower Shop was founded by Laura Byerly and her father, James Cagle, who set out to build something truly special: a flower shop rooted in the full journey of the bloom-from seed to stunning arrangement.

While Laura brings flowers to life in the shop through thoughtfully designed bouquets and arrangements, James is hard at work on the farm. As a master gardener, he prepares the soil, installs irrigation, plans layouts, studies flower varieties, and builds relationships with other growers. Rain or shine, James shows up with unmatched determination. His philosophy is simple: with hard work and persistence, anything is possible-one step at a time.

Laura is an artist at heart, using flowers as her medium.

Her designs are guided by color, texture, balance, and composition. With 15 years of experience in corporate sales leading a team, she brings a strong business foundation to Flora Pomona-along with a passion for every part of the floral industry, from seed selection and sourcing to customer relationships and creative partnerships.
